We are so excited to welcome you to Mountaineer Basecamp, the Parent-Teacher-Community Organization (PTCO) dedicated to supporting Mayacamas Countywide Middle School, its students, teachers, staff and their families. As a vital part of the school community, our mission is to enrich the educational experience of every student through collaboration, involvement, and a strong sense of community.

At Mountaineer Basecamp, we believe that when parents, teachers, and the community work together, we can create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students to thrive. Whether you are a parent, guardian, or community member, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference. Together, we strive to foster a welcoming school culture, provide valuable resources for students and teachers, and raise funds to support school programs that enrich the lives of our students.​
