I am honored to serve on the Mayacamas Middle School Board and grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school and community that means so much to local families.
As a parent, I understand firsthand how important it is for children to have a school environment where they feel safe, supported, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. My own experiences as a parent have strengthened my passion for advocating for students and making sure families feel heard and included in their children’s education.
My personal experiences have also given me a deep appreciation for special education and the importance of meeting every student where they are. Professionally, I work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis as a Behavior Interventionist, where I support children with diverse learning and behavioral needs. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, individualized support, and collaboration between schools, families, and professionals.
I joined the Mayacamas Middle School Board because I want to be an active part of strengthening our community and creating opportunities for students and families to thrive. I believe that when we listen to our families, support our educators, and advocate for the individual needs of our students, we create a stronger school community for everyone.
I am passionate about building a school environment where every student feels seen, valued, and capable of success. It is a privilege to serve our community, and I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside families, students, educators, and fellow board members to help make Mayacamas Middle School a place our community can be proud of.
